CAPTURING LIGHT, LIFE, AND SPACES
I’m Colleen Vocque—a multidisciplinary artist, landscape painter, and photographer based in Northwest Arkansas. Raised in a suburb of Chicago, I eventually found my way south — spending my high school years in Hot Springs, eventually graduating from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!) and ultimately landing back in Northwest Arkansas.
My work is deeply inspired by honest, unscripted connection and the rich textures of the landscape. When I'm not behind the lens, you can usually find me exploring the great outdoors—whether that’s hiking, chasing the perfect light, or capturing the regional beauty on canvas for my landscape painting collection. in the winter months, you can (sometimes) find me bundled up in a goose blind — finding my place in my husband's world of waterfowl hunting—a perspective that completely shaped my waterfowl collection.
