Outdoor Photography & Campaign Strategy

A Study in the Arkansas Delta Waterfowl Culture

A collage of three atmospheric portraits of a waterfowl hunter standing in flooded timber. The sportsman is wearing a tan hat and a shell-loaded field vest, shown holding waterfowl calls, smiling, and navigating the water-filled woods among bare trees.

STORYTELLING
Editorial-style visual storytelling for outfitters, lodges, conservation organizations, sporting destinations, and outdoor businesses.

More than photography
The strongest outdoor campaigns require more than beautiful images. They require an understanding of the customer, the product, the season, the sales channel, and the story the brand wants to own.
With more than six years in retail strategy and category growth, I plan each shoot for commercial use—from campaign concept and shot list to a versatile image library built for digital advertising, social media, e-commerce, print, and retail.

Each shoot can be planned to include horizontal, vertical, square, detail, environmental, product-focused, and copy-friendly compositions.

The Approach: Honest Observation
The most compelling imagery rarely feels overly directed. My process begins with observation—allowing real interactions, changing conditions, and natural product use to shape the story. The result is imagery that feels lived rather than staged while still fulfilling the campaign’s commercial requirements.

Delta Daybreak
Delta Daybreak was created simply from a desire to document our own time in the blind. What started as a personal record evolved into a multi-year pursuit of honest observation. This collection strips away the staging to capture the authentic reality of waterfowl culture—documenting the grit, the early mornings, and the unscripted moments exactly as they happen. It is proof that the most powerful imagery is captured when people are simply doing what they love.

Gritty, Unscripted, and Field-Tested Photography
The best brands don't just sell gear; they sell the grit and camaraderie of the experience. Let's work together to document your products exactly where they belong—in the wild, doing the work they were made to do.
